Student Assistance Program (SAP)

SAP

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a state-mandated program in Pennsylvania that helps identify and support students who may be experiencing barriers to learning. At the elementary level, SAP provides a caring and confidential way to connect students and families with resources when concerns such as anxiety, behavior changes, or family challenges begin to affect a child’s success in school.

Our SAP team—made up of trained school staff and community agency partners—works together to offer support, provide referrals, and link families with outside services when needed. While SAP does not provide treatment or discipline, it ensures that every child has access to the help and encouragement needed to thrive both academically and emotionally.
