At Blackhawk High School, our Mathematics program is designed to help students think critically, solve problems, and apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations. We are committed to creating a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student can build confidence, strengthen reasoning skills, and prepare for future academic and career success.

Core Math courses provide a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics, ensuring that all students develop essential skills in mathematical thinking and application.

Advanced opportunities include Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP-level courses, and College in High School, allowing students to pursue rigorous study and college-level preparation.

Applied and elective courses give students the chance to explore practical uses of mathematics in technology, business, and everyday problem-solving.

Our mission is simple: to empower students with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence they need to succeed in math and to carry those skills into college, careers, and lifelong learning.
