ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
The ASVAB is a multiple-choice test used by the U.S. military to determine eligibility for enlistment and to help match individuals with potential career paths. Beyond military service, the ASVAB also offers a free Career Exploration Program that connects students’ skills and interests with civilian career opportunities. Test results include an AFQT (Armed Forces Qualification Test) score, which indicates eligibility for enlistment, along with feedback to support career planning for any pathway a student may choose.
Please see your school counselor for more information.
The Free ASVAB test is taking place at Blackhawk High School on Tuesday, November 4, 2025
