Are you Eligible for a SAT Fee Waiver: 
 
You're eligible for fee waivers if you say "yes" to any of the following:
  • You're enrolled in or eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
  • Your annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
  • You're enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., Federal TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
  • Your family receives public assistance.
  • You live in federally subsidized public housing or a foster home, or are homeless.
  • You are a ward of the state or an orphan.
If you think you're eligible for a fee waiver, your school counselor will help you get a fee waiver.


SAT Online Test Prep via Khan Academy:
Khan Academy and CollegeBoard have a parntership to provide tailored free SAT test prep. The customized test prep via Khan Academy is based off the built-in diagnostic exam or by importing student's SAT or PSAT scores into Khan Academy.
Penn State Beaver is offering an SAT prep course.  More information is available below:


Penn State’s SAT prep course teaches you techniques and strategies to help you do your best on the newly designed digital exam. By investing in SAT practice, you’re making a commitment to your college, career, and life success.
 
Experienced instructors will guide students through:
  • Effective tips and strategies for each SAT section, including Reading and Writing, Language, and Math.
  • Practice with official SAT exams that simulate real test conditions to help measure improvement.
  • Weighing the pros and cons of guessing on questions.
  • Techniques to save time and answer questions more quickly and accurately.
  • Understanding the SAT scoring system and learning how to calculate scores.
  • Using online tools and practice problems from Khan Academy® and Bluebook to boost skills and confidence.

September Start
