• Parents/guardians who are dropping off have two options:
  • If a child can independently exit the vehicle, a parent can enter the drop-off lane that wraps around the exterior of the parking lot. Children will exit the vehicle near the front door.
  • For children that need more assistance, parents can park in the lot and walk their child to the front door. There is a crosswalk to assist in this process.
• Staff will be available to help students in the morning.

At the start of the school year, parents/guardians will indicate whether their child will be a daily bus rider or an everyday pick-up. If your child is a bus rider but will need to be picked up on a specific day, a written note is required and should be sent with your child in the morning. The note must include:

• Your child’s first and last name

• Homeroom teacher’s name

If your child needs to ride a different bus than usual, a separate written note is also required and must include the following details:

• Student’s first and last name

• Bus number the student will be riding

• Date of the change

• Full drop-off address

• A phone number where a parent/guardian can be reached during the day

To ensure a safe and accurate drop-off, students riding a different bus will receive a “bus band” that includes this information for the driver.
